Summary: Investing in the fruit of patience.

Step 1

Read Galatians 5:22-23:

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

Are you ready to make an investment in the Fruit of Patience?

Step 2

Read Luke 10:20:

"Do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."

Select 'Successful' when you are finished.

Step 3

What are you currently doing to serve the Lord? Specifically, how are you being useful to Him?

Write your answer in the space below.

Step 4

Go to the 'Documents' button at the top of the page and read Oswald Chamber's observations on being useful to the Lord.

Select 'Successful' when you are finished.

Step 6

How much do you feel like you need to earn God's love and approval by doing 'good works'?

Step 7

Given God's desire to be in relationship with you, to love you, without the need to 'earn' your status in Him, is there anything you would like to repent of (express your sorrow)?

If so, you can do so privately or in the space provide.

Step 8

Given God's passionate desire to be in an intimate, loving relationship with you -built on trust, not works- is there anything you would like to praise or give thanks to Him for?

If so, you can do so privately or in the space provide.

Step 9

Looking back on your response in Step 3, are you willing to take a moment to ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you about your answer?

If 'Yes', ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you about your response.
