Step 1

Close your eyes and think about a memory or recent event that made you smile because you didn't see it coming. Play it out in your mind and feel welcome to describe it in the space below.

Step 2

Experience has shown us that before you can break down emotional barriers for yourself, you have to be open to showing respect to others.

Pay it forward.

Today, take a moment to think of someone you respect. Think of one kind act you can do for them today.

Examples are a phone call to see how they are, help them with a chore, help them complete a project, etc.

Go ahead.

You know the routine.

Find someone who can use a hand.

Be the hand.

Write who you're going to do something kind for and what the action will be.

Step 3

Your mission is to go do the task in the next 24 hours.

If you can't do it today, then your task is to schedule a time to do it soon and post to let us know it's coming.
