Summary:

Step 1

Hello there! You're so close!

Begin today by jumping up to the video icon to watch a clip from "Downton Abby" where a man discovers that his wife was violently raped. He confronts her and the discussion helps remove all the shame and anguish she had been feeling and trying to keep to herself.

Let us know how her message landed with you.

Step 2

Anna, in the clip above, lost the best part of herself after the violence she suffered. It was understandable how she would feel that way and yet she was wrong.

It took people who loved her to help her find her way back. Eventually she realized that her husband saw her as holier and more pure because of what she endured. His love and respect for her grew deeper because he saw how much she was suffering.

Without going into details, what is the best part of you that has suffered because of your pain?

Step 3

How much are you willing to fight for the best part of you?

Step 4

Describe how you'll wrestle doubts that sometimes surface.

Step 5

It's helpful to know that it's impossible to get rid of all doubt and stumbling blocks overnight.

Give yourself a break. Focus on the next small, logical step toward victory. It could be a thought, a behavior, whatever, that moves you just a bit closer to your personal victory to reclaim the best part of yourself. It takes time. And that's the way it is meant to be.

Savor the journey. Each stage is a victory in and of itself. Each step shows you more about yourself that you couldn't have known otherwise. And that's a good thing.

What do you think about that?

See you tomorrow for the Grand Finale!
