Welcome back!

The navigation that follows is intended to help you master a pivotal mindset.

Today is about understanding that you are not defective.

You are not deficient.

There is never a need to argue for your limitations - unless you want to keep them.

It will be very hard to change the way you interact with others or to gain their respect if you think of yourself as 'less than'.

Step 2

Mia says, “Maybe I'm just not good enough.” That's a dangerous thing to believe.

How often do tell yourself that?

Step 3

We hear you. Remember, we couldn't have shared any of this with you if we hadn't struggled with it first. We had to do a lot of 'unlearning'.

Now watch the 2nd clip from Les Brown.

Step 4

Viewpoint. How you see yourself is going to influence every area of your life. If you see yourself as 'not good enough', then you've argued for your limitations as Mr. Brown said.

Why do that?

Go back to who you are. Start there. List every good quality about yourself, everything someone has complemented you on, everything you like. Argue FOR yourself in the space below.

Step 5

Mr. Brown's words of wisdom:
* "Someone's (negative) opinion of you does not have to become your reality."
* "If you argue for your limitations, you get to keep them."
* Say to yourself, "I deserve the best that life has to offer."
* "I deserve to find my purpose."
* Be Bold
* Whenever you decide to go to the next level, there's going to be turbulence. Fasten your psychological, mental and spiritual seatbelt."
* "There's going to be up times and down times. In the down moments, that's when you discover who you are. In the prosperous times, put it in your pocket. In the lean times, you put it (lessons/determination) in your heart, and that's when you discover who you are."

Have you been arguing for your limitations by the way you treat people or let them treat you?

What do you think would happen if you acted as yourself, comfortable with (accepting) who you are - strengths, flaws and all - the total package?
