A Simple Cure For Anxiety: Psalm 23 (Peace)

Read Galatians 5:22-23:

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

Are you ready to make an investment in the Fruit of Peace?

Clear your mind. Take a depth breath and read:

"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul."

Allow the verse to penetrate, then select the 'Successful' response.

In the space provided, write down your first thoughts about this verse.

Read:

"He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake."

Again, stay with this verse a moment before proceeding, then select the 'Successful' response.

On an average day, how often do you sense that God is guiding you along the right path?

Read:

"Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me."

Describe any effect it may be having on your fears, insecurities and doubts?

Read:

"You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever."

Select 'Successful' when you are finished.

Again, stay with the verse awhile. When you are ready, ask the Holy Spirit if he has something he would like to reveal to you.
