A Certified Athletic Trainer
Hi, my name is Renata Odongo. I am a Certified Athletic Trainer who works in Sports Medicine. I specialize in injury prevention, recovery, wellness, and preparing athletes for their seasons through programs that include lifting, conditioning, functional movement, and mobility. I believe fitness is a spectrum and that individual's need to identify their what/why before they start their fitness journey. Finding your why gives you a mental benchmark to focus on, when you feel like giving up. Regardless of where you are in your fitness journey, be grateful for where your body has gotten you and where you are now, so let's focus on what you need to do to become a healthier you. I want to foster a space for fitness that focuses more on healthy goals and mental health. My goal is to make you feel welcome and encouraged to take your first step on your fitness journey or motivate you to continue pushing on. As a former collegiate athlete, I learned to be self-motivated because I was raised with the mentality that someone was always waiting to take my spot. Now my mentality is me vs. me, and now I make a choice to get better every day. I would be honored to be a part of your fitness journey.
